Missions Support

Missions is an important part of the ministry of our church. Jesus instructed His disciples to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matt. 28:19-20).

As a church, we are committed to stay involved in helping to fulfill this Great Commission and be of support to missionaries. We help support 8 missionaries and 3 missions ministries with monthly pledges. The missionaries we support are in Chile, Russia/Eastern Europe, Royal Rangers Int’l in Kenya, China/Yangtze-Pearl River Deltas, Italy and S.E. Europe, as well as 2 missionaries doing worldwide internet missions from Springfield, MO here in the U.S., one of them with Global University. The other 3 missions ministries we help support are Jacob’s Hope, Missionary Associates 2Go, and Teen Challenge of Western Pennsylvania. The church is kept focused on missions with visuals, publications and prayer. On the 2nd Sunday of every month we have a short missions presentation made in the worship service to update the church with the current information/correspondence and finances as well as prayer for missions and missionaries.
